Días de otoño

When young Luisa comes from the provinces to the capital, she immediately finds a job in a modern bakery thanks to a recommendation. Things take a strange turn, however, when she claims one day that she is getting married in the next weeks – although her affable colleagues have never seen her with a man and actually wanted to take her out with them on the town after work. From then on, Luisa performs this life for them (which her colleagues seemingly also dream of) with ever greater degrees of imagination… A fascination psycho-trip that remains opaque until the end and functions at the same time as a perfect portrait of Mexico City in the early 60s, between new affluence and old poverty.
